TBILISI CITY TOUR (B)
After Breakfast start to explore the capital city of Georgia. During your full day tour, visit all the main attraction. Start with the Holy Trinitiy Cathedral, which was built in 21st century and being the main Christian Orthodox cathedral in the country. Continue to Metekhi Churchof located by the bank of the Mtkvari river. Ride up to Narikala Fortress by aerial cable car. The fortress dates back to the 4thcentury AD. It has a superb location with magnificent panoramic views over the city. Stroll down to Legvtakhevi (translated literally as “Fig Ravine”) – a beautiful place with a waterfall. Take a walk into the park near the Sulfur bathhouses, which is well-known for their healing powers. The Shardeni street and its neighbourhood and Meidan square with its outdoor cafés, galleries and souvenir shops, is your next stop. Visit then the Caravanserai – the Tbilisi History Museum. The museum presents unique items, household accessories and weapons dating back to the Bronze Age. Cross the Bridge of Peace – a modern glass bridge in hightech style. Your last stop for today is the National Museum of Georgia on Rustaveli Avenue. The museum collection includes artefacts of natural and human history, with animal remains, and rich ethnographic and archaeological collections beginning from Palaeolithic era to Middle Ages.

Kisikhevi
TBILISI – WINE TASTING – KISIKHEVI (B, L)
Start your day with a visit to the Tsinandali museum of Alexander Chavchavadze – Kakhetian nobleman and public figure. Alexander Chavchavadze was familiar with European ways of making wine and established the winery and decorative garden, where he frequently entertained his guests. Explore the museum with a glass of Tsinandali wine. Next, head to Shumi winery located nearby and taste Shumi bottled wine with light snacks. Drive to Telavi and have lunch in local house with home-made food. After lunch continue to the Napareuli village. The Twins Wine Cellar in Napareuli is a delightful winery and vineyard site. It provides many activities for tourists: visit the wine museum, observe the wall with several “Qvevri” (big clay jar used for storing wine) shapes that can display artefacts, walk in two-story “Qvevri” in front of the building, or taste delicious “Qvevri wines”.

Kazbegi
KISIKHEVI – RAFTING – ANANURI – KAZBEGI (B)
On your way to Kazbegi, drive off-road via Akhmet. Upon arrival in Magharoskari, your adventurous rafting tour on the Pshavis Aragvi river starts. Enjoy the fun ride on the water, before continue to the Ananuri fortress, built in the 14-17th century. The complex consists of fortifications and residential buildings of Aragvi Dukes. The purpose of the monument was to control the trade rout and to guard the country from North.

KAZBEGI – GERGETI – JUTA – CHAUKHI (B, L)
Enjoy today the impressive Caucasus Mountains. Hop onto your horse and ride to Gergeti Mountin, where you find the Holy Trinity Church (14th century). Return back to Kazbegi for your local lunch in a local house with home-made dishes. In the afternoon, hop on a 4x4 car and drive o Juta village. From here, hike to the lake at the base of Chaukhi Mountains (10km, 3-4hours).

KAZBEGI – MTSHETA – TBILISI (B)
Today, hike the whole day in Truso gorge (25km, 5hours, easy). It is located on the Northern slope of the Caucasus, at the beginning of the Tergi River bed. The tour takes you to the origin Truso pass and ends at a village named Kobi. The gorge is in an alpine zone, where factually are no trees. This is why it is so picturesque and unique in its geological structure – the travertine valley with hydro carbonate mineral springs and “boiling” lake. Despite the severe climate, the remains of old structures – churches, towers and fortresses, are still preserved in some of the villages of Truso gorge. Truso is also rich of mineral waters which influences the colouring of the river Tergi. See also a small carbonated lake en-route. Afterwards, on your way to Tbilisi, visit Mtskheta. It functioned as the capital of Eastern Georgia – Iberia – from 3rd century. BC to the 5th century. AD. Mtskheta historical monuments –Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
