Day 1
Rubik

AIRPORT – RUBIK (D)

When the group arrives in Albania they will be welcomed by our driver and transferred to Rubik. In Rubik they will be accommodated in eco hotel Marubi. Depending on the time they can make a 2 hour walk to the nearby village or can go and visit the 12 century old Rubik Church from where the view of the area is spectacular.

Day 2
TROPOJE

RUBIK – KOMAN – FIERZE – TROPOJE VILLAGE (B, L, D)

Today you drive to Koman Lake through one of the most panoramic routes in Albania. The journey through the lake lasts about 2 hours and is considered one of the most scenic boat tours in the Balkan. In the lake have been built 3 hydroelectric power plants, which produce about 70 % of Albania’s electric needs. After reaching Fierza you drive to the Turret Type house of Mic Sokoli to learn more about this important leader of the 19 Century. Next you begin driving for a while and then walking to the village of Tropojë in Albania. In the afternoon you reach the village of Tropojë and be accommodated in the village houses.

Day 3
SYLBICA

TROPOJE VILLAGE – SYLBICA PASTURES (1800 m) (B, L, D)

After loading your luggage on the car, you begin walking along the banks of Tropoja river. The journey last about 6 hours and in the end you arrive in the Alpine Pastures called Sylbicë. Accommodation will be in the alpine pasture huts, which accommodates up to 10 persons per hut. The bathrooms are shared and situated outside the hut. Dinner is prepared according to the culinary tradition of the area.

Day 4
Doberdol

SYLBICE – DOBERDOL (1800 -1900 m above sea level) (B, L, D)

After breakfast you load the luggages on the horses and start walking to Dobërdol. On the way you will have time to take breaks and enjoy the scenery of the Alps. For those who want to swim there are 2 small lakes ahead as you reach Doberdol. After lunch you arrive to Doberdol were you will be accommodated in the Alpine Huts.

Day 5
Valbone

DOBERDOL – ÇEREM – VALBONE (860M)  (B, L, D)

After loading the luggage in horses you start walking from Dobërdol to Çerem passing through Koshutica and Vranica alpine pastures. Lunch can be organized in the village of Çerem. After lunch you drive from Çerem to Valbonë.

Day 6
Theth

VALBONE – VALBONA PASS - THETH (1950 - 750 m above sea level)  (B, L, D)

After driving for a while you reach the place from where you hike toward the village of Theth. The trail you will follow goes through the village of Rragam and Valbona springs. You need about 2-3 hours depending on the ability of the group to reach the summit or Valbona pass at the altitude of 1815 m. From there the panorama unveiled of both Valbona and Theth valleys is breathtaking. Next you can have picnic lunch about 1 km from the pass. At the place called “Krojnat” you can have coffee or refresh yourselves with any juice or beers. In the afternoon you reach Theth and accommodate in the Gjelaj quarter.

Day 7
Shkoder

THETH – QAFA E T’HORES - SHKODER (1830 m above sea level) (B)

You take the local minibus and drive through Theth - T’thore Pass - Boga - Shkodër. Shkodër has been a very important city for the Albanian since antiquity. It is known as well as the city of bicycles since so many people would use the bicycles to commute everyday. Today is a lively town because of tourism and because of the Shkodër National University, which brings mainly students from the Northern Albania to study in. Lunch will be in the city center with e beautiful view of the pedestrian street where many coffee shops are situated. Next you drive to Tirana and visit the city. You will have a 2 hour guided walk through the city center.

Tirana

TIRANA – MOTHER THERESA AIRPORT (B)

Free time. Transfer to the Airport. End of Service
