Day 1

NAIROBI ARRIVAL – LAKE NAKURU (L, D)

After arrival, start your tour at the Lake Nakuru National Park. Check into your Lodge and enjoy your lunch. The first game drive starts then in the afternoon. Lake Nakuru National Park was created to protect the huge flamingo population. Waterbucks, bohor reedbucks and zebras roam the shore. The lake is home to the black and white rhinoceros. 1987 all, except of two black rhinos left the area due to poaching. By establishing a rhino-protected area within the park and crossing it with a breeder from Laikipia, the Kenya Wildlife Service (K.W.S.) succeeded in successfully multiplying rhinos in the park. Wildlife watching is relatively easy and is possible until sunset. Buffalo, Leopard, Lion, Rothschild Giraffe, Colobus can be observed in the forest. Back at the Lodge, enjoy your dinner.

Maasai Mara

LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA (B, L, D)

Today, continue the safari to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is so called to describe the "dotted plains" in Maa. This is home to the largest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa's ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension of the vast Serengeti Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Transfer to the lodge for a game drive en-route and after check-in you will enjoy a warm lunch. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this spectacular location with endless plains and the largest variety of wildlife left in the world. The landscape consists of rolling savannas with scattered shrubs and bush thickets.

Day 3

MAASAI MARA: OPTIONAL TOURS TO CHOOSE FROM DURING THE TRIP (B, L, D)

During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore this large reserve. You can see elephants, giraffes, lion packs and thousands of Impala, Topi, Grants and Thomsons Gazelle. Birds are diverse including immigrants, 450 bird species among them 57 birds of prey were registered. The Mara is the site of the annual migration of millions of wildebeest from the Serengeti Plains in search of water and grasses. In the Mara, you can float aboard a hot air balloon over the Mara Serengeti ecosystem, followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast. You can also visit a Maasai village and enjoy entertainment by Maasai dancers (options at an additional cost).

Day 4
Lake Naivasha

MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA (B, L, D)

After breakfast and check-out, drive to Lake Naivasha, the first of the Rift Valley lakes. It is located at the foot of Mount Longonot on the north side. It was on Lake Naivasha, where the first flight passengers in East Africa landed in the Imperial Airways flying boats. After lunch at the camp, take an afternoon boat ride to discover the many different birds in the area.
