Day 1
Siem Reap

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, you are warmly welcomed and escorted to your hotel. Late afternoon, visit the Bakheng Temple and enjoy a spectacular sunset view from Bakheng Hills. Afterward, your welcome dinner will be served while you watch an Apsara Dance Show.

SIEM REAP: ANGKOR TOUR (B, L)


This morning starts at the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Explore this masterpiece, as well as, some of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevado, Srah Srong. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk. Continue to visit the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visiting the famous temple: Angkor Wat. It is famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Battambang

SIEM REAP - EK PHNOM TEMPLE - BATTAMBANG (B, L)


Department to Battambang, the second largest city and the biggest rice producer in Cambodia. Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant, before visiting the archeological provincial museum. Followed by a visit to the Ek Phnom temple and the colonial style houses along the Sangke River. On the way back, you can visit the traditional Cambodian houses and the artisan factory of rice flaky cake.

BATTAMBANG: COOKING CLASS & BAMBOO TRAIN (B, L)


Join Nary’s Cambodian Food cooking class in the morning. The lesson by Mrs. Nary will start with a guided trip to the local market; you will learn 4 courses meal including a dessert. Participants will also receive a recipe leaflet with all the instructions necessary to reproduce their dishes at home. And of course, you get to eat what you've cooked for lunch. In the evening, try out for a ride on the Bamboo Train - a fun experience and also a great opportunity to see the sunset in the countryside. It’s like a childhood dream comes true.

Phnom Penh

BATTAMBANG - PHNOM PENH (B, L)


On the way to Phnom Penh stop by at the pottery village Kampong Chnang to admire hard work of a local family who pottery by the manual for a living. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue the road to Phnom Penh.  Upon arrival check in hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure.

PHNOM PENH: ROYAL PALACE, NATIONAL MUSEUM, CENTRAL MARKET, WA PHNOM (B, L)


Your first stop today is the Royal Palace, built in 1866 and the Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum, dedicated exclusively to Khmer art and sculpture. The majority of the exhibits are from the Angkor period (9th to 15th century), but some date from as early as the 4thcentury. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Central Market (Psar Thmei), a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. The four wings of this gigantic yellow dome are teeming with stalls that sell goods ranging from gold and silver, antique coins, money exchange, books, flowers, food, fabrics, shoes, souvenirs, seafood and countless other products. Last stop for today, the impressive Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda on a hill, which marks the legendary founding place of the city.

Sihanoukville

PHNOM PENH - SIHANOUKVILLE (B)


Today, drive to SIHANOUKVILLE This is the smoothest road of Cambodia built by the USA. It will take about 4.5 hours to reach your destination. Upon arrival, Sihanouk Ville, check in your hotel and free for the remained of the day.
