MAKASSAR: ARRIVAL AND CITY TOUR (L, D)
Upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar, your guide welcomes you. The city tour starts afterwards in Makassar by visiting Paotere Harbor to see the traditional harbour style of the legendary Bugis-Makassarese sailors. Lunch is served today in a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Fort Rotterdam, to see the traces of the Dutch Colonialist in South Sulawesi. In the late afternoon you visit “Anjungan Pantai Losari Makassar” the Boulevard and the icon of Makassar where you enjoy the Sunset (if the weather permitts).

MAKASSAR: RAMMANG-RAMMANG (B, L, D)
Today, the full day tour starts by visiting the Rammang-Rammang limestone valley, located in Maros Regency. The Karst Mountains are surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Afterwards, your guide takes you to explore the Karst mountain formation using a small wooden boat at the Pute River where it is also possible for you to see some endemic from this area such as birds and monkeys. You also take some time for a walk to visit the pre-historic cave, where you can see the pre-historic paintings as the seed of the civilization. Then short explore the inside of the cave to see the stalactite and stalagmite. Break and lunch are taken at the Kampung Berua, where you have very simple local food, cooked and served by the local people. Have a little walk afterwards at the Stone Garden of Rammang-Rammang. Then and drive back to Makassar.

MAKASSAR – PARE-PARE – TORAJA (B, L, D)
After breakfast, set out on a picturesque drive to Toraja for approximately 8 hours drive, passing thru the Buginese area. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Pare-Pare, the harbour city between Makassar and Toraja. After lunch, continue driving to Toraja precedes a scenic drive with many photo-stops enroute. Afternoon stop at Puncak Lakawan which is also known as erotic mountain. In the late afternoon arrive at Rantepao, Toraja. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

TORAJA TOUR: LEMO - SUAYA - LONDA - KETE KESU (B, L, D)
Explore today Toraja by starting at Lemo area in order to see the Tau Tau Statues and the Hanging Graves. Continue then to Suaya to discover the secret of the Baby Tree, where the Taraa keep the death babies on her womb as the death babies will not be buried for their innocence. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visiting Londa to see an Ancient Grave where the death are entombed, but kept in a grave cave or hang on the cliff wall. From there, your trip continues with the visit of Kete Kesu. It is one of the oldest Torajan villages where you can see the traditional Torajan House that is called Tongkonan as well as the Old Rice Barns. Kete Kesu is also very famous for their traditional colourful wood carving. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

TORAJA TOUR: BATUTIUMONGA – SHORT WALKING BORI (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you set out on a trip to Batutiumonga, enjoying superb views over Rantepao and surrounding valleys from the top of Toraja. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. Then do a short hiking tour to the rice fields and local villages where you can also see the daily life of the people in Toraja. The next destination of this day is Bori, a Megalith Complex that once was used for funeral ceremonies by the old community of Toraja with special religion called Aluk Toulodo. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

TORAJA - PARE-PARE - MAKASSAR AIRPORT (B, L)
After breakfast, you drive back to Makassar. You stop again at Puncak Lakawan and in Pare-Pare. Lunch stop at Pare-Pare then departure to Sultan Hassanuddin International Airport to catch your flight to the next destination.
