Day 1 - Borneo

PANGKALAN BUN ARRIVAL: SEKONYER BOATING EXPERIENCE (L, D)

On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport, a meeting service will be conducted by our tour guide before you get a transfer to Kumai river port to reach the gate of the National Park. The cook will serve your lunch onboard while cruise towards the National Park. While floating on the river, you can see many different kind of vegetation’s along the river banks including water plants. But you also can see monkeys on those river banks. Proboscis monkeys are the endemic animals that can only be seen in Borneo. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Day 2 - Camp Leakey

HOUSEBOAT – PONDOK TANGGUI – CAMP LEAKEY – HOUSEBOAT (B, L, D)

After breakfast, visit the conservation centre of Pondok Tanggui where you can join the feeding program of the Orang Utan. You may have a sight of various conditions of Orang Utan, some of them are carrying babies, dominant male and some are on teenage stage. It is a real exceptional experience to see them come one by one from any direction of the forest and gathering at the spot where the food is delivered. Continue afterwards to Camp Leaky, where the highlight of the park is and only be reached by passing the black water river which is filled with full natural wildlife. Here you see plenty of different birds, monkeys, fish, as well as the fresh water crocodile. Lunch will be served on boat on the way to reach Camp Leakey. After arrival, walk up to the camp to learn more about this conservation centre and its work. In case time permits, some trekking can be done to the virgin rain forest with its natural rich habitats of plantation and animals. You enjoy another feeding program at the camp afterwards.  Return to your boat and enjoy one of the rarest forest night phenomena: thousands of fireflies are visible among the forest as well as the river banks in between one to the other native plantation of Kalimantan Rain Forest. Dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 3 - Bakonsu Village

HOUSEBOAT – KUMAI – PANGKALAN BUN – BAKONSU VILLAGE (B, L, D)

After breakfast, start today by boating back to Kumai from where you drive up to Pangkalan Bun. Arrive at the Lamandau River and board a speed boat that head to Bakonsu Dayak Traditional Village. Here, you enjoy your afternoon with a sightseeing tour of the village. See the Sandung and Pantar, the places where the Dayak People keep their ancestor bones after the sacred Tewah Ceremony. Spending the rest of the afternoon and resting in a calm village atmosphere. At night you can enjoy the welcoming show by HORNBILL DANCE and you even take part in the dance. Dinner and overnight will be at longhouse. Longhouse is a traditional Dayak House that gathers the whole family member to stay together and life peacefully as a big family. The form of longhouse is more to a long building with no rooms other than one big hall where everyone resting, cooking, talking, eating and doing all other indoor activities.

Day 4 - Bakonsu

BAKONSU – PANGKALAN BUN AIRPORT (B)

Early in the morning, you drive back to the airport in order to catch your return or onward flight.
