Day 1
SIGIRIYA

BANDARANAYAKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – SIGIRIYA(D)

Arrive in Sri Lanka. Meet English speaking driver and proceed to Sigiriya. Check into hotel upon arrival.

Day 2
KANDY

SIGIRIYA – KANDY (B, D)

Check out after breakfast. Visit the 5th century UNESCO heritage site of Sigiriya. Climb the 200 meter rock, the most significant feature here. On the way to the top see the mirror wall and the famed frescoes of apsaras on the rock wall. Walk round the water and boulder gardens after descending. Proceed to the hill town of Kandy, the last royal capital. On arrival go on a sightseeing tour of the town. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a much venerated Buddhist site, located in a part of the old royal palace. In the evening attend a cultural performance by over 100 exponents of the Kandyan style of dance and music. Return to hotel.

Day 3
COLOMBO

KANDY – COLOMBO (B, D)
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Colombo. On arrival go on a city tour, a part of which is a walk through the historic Fort and Pettah areas. Pick up bargains in Pettah the city’s cheapest shopping destination. Grab a bite and drink at the 17th century Dutch Hospital shopping precinct in the Fort or at the many restaurants and coffee shops in the heart of the city. Check into hotel.

Day 4
COLOMBO

COLOMBO – BANDARANAYAKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (B)
Check out after breakfast & departure to airport for flight home.
