KIGALI ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative and transfer to your accommodation in the Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a stroll to the local markets for souvenir shopping. Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, is an attractive city spread over many hills for which Rwanda is well known. The City has a pleasant, buoyant air and its people are some of the most friendly in the world.

Volcanoes Park
KIGALI – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D)
Enjoy breakfast with a relaxed morning and thereafter go for the Kigali City tour. The Kigali cultural tour includes the Genocide Memorial centre at Gisozi. The Tour is approx. 3 hrs. The City tour of Kigali gives the outsider an opportunity to see Kigali Commercial, administrative, cultural and Residential areas. The Nyamironko Kigali market is one that shows a typical local goods market, You will also visit Camp Kigali (also called The Belgian Cemetery), the venue of the massacre of 10 Belgian UN Blue Berets which happened on the first day of the genocide. Kandt Museum (first Deutschland resident), New Kigali city (Nyarutarama), Old city (at Nyamirambo the oldest quarter of Kigali where also is the Moslem Quarter), Kigali Sports Stadium at Remera, Heroes' Cemetery, and Mount Kigali, etc are other highlights. A visit to the Genocide Memorial at Gisozi is the highlight of the City Cultural Tour. The exhibition in the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre tells the history of Rwanda leading up to genocide in 1994 and catalogues the details of the genocide using photographs, videos, written accounts and a range of artifacts. It includes personal testimonies and a moving memorial to the children of the Rwandan genocide, through these formats. There is also a children’s memorial, and an exhibition on the history of genocidal violence around the world. Have Lunch in Kigali at a Karisimbi restaurant and thereafter transfer to Volcanoes National Park, through the rolling hils of Kiningi. Relax for the evenning at the lodge or visit a local women’s project in the community. Approximate driving time – 3 hours

Bwindi
VOLCANOES PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you will transfer tot he park headquaters, Volcanoes National Park and after briefing start the hike into the forest. This trek is not very steep but sometimes takes a longer walk too. Return to the lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will drive to the Park Headquarters for briefing by the guides before heading for gorilla tracking in the park. Tracking can take as long as up to 9 hours of a walk in the forest searching for the gorillas. However an our of interaction with this closest relatives to human the rare endangered species is indeed a rewarding experience.

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK – KIGALI (B, L)
After breakfast, explore the Batwa trail to experience their local life style. This walk gives and an outside of the early man times and experiences which is a trend not so long a go a local tribe used to live in the forest. Return to the lodge for an early lunch and drive to Kigali for your flight out
