Day 1
Yangon

ARRIVAL YANGON (D)

Welcome by our tour guide upon arrival at Yangon International Airport. After, transfer to hotel and take a few hours for refreshment. DINNER at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese/Thai or Indian restaurant).

Day 2
Mandalay

YANGON-MANDALAY BY FLIGHT - AMARAPURA - SAGAING SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)


After breakfast, early check-out from hotel and transfer to airport for domestic flight to Mandalay (Flying Hours – about 1 hour 25 minutes). On arrival, proceed directly to Amarapura. Visit to the 200 years-old U BEIN teak bridge, built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the Royal Capital. LUNCH at local restauran (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant). And drive to Sagaing Hill. The Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries, a retreat for some 6000 monks and nuns. Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, KaungHmudaw Pagoda (a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka), and Ywahtaung (home of the silversmiths’ guilds) are places worth visiting. And go back to Mandalay. DINNER at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant).

MINGUN-MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)


Breakfast at hotel. Departing from Mandalay, you will discover the charms of old Burma as you take a journey through one of Myanmar's ancient capital. Drive to  jetty to watch the busy riverside activity and take a local riverboat to the ancient capital of Mingun (appr. 1 hour per way).  Visit to the Settawya Pagoda, with a footprint of the Buddha, walk to the huge Mingun Bell - the world’s largest ringing bell exists (It weighs 55555 viss), the nearby unfinished MingunPahtodawgyi - one of the famous buildings in the world., Myatheindan (Hsinbyume) Pagoda, built by King Bagyidaw in 1816, three years before he succeeded Bodawpaya as king, the pagoda was constructed in memory of his senior wife the Hsinbyume princess., a reproduction of the mythological Mt. Meru. Drive back to Mandalay. And LUNCH at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant). Afternoon sightseeing tour includes Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves then, to Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (Golden Palace monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building. After, enjoying the sunset on the Mandalay Hill. DINNER at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant).

Bagan

MANDALAY-BAGAN BY EXPRESS BOAT (B/L/D)


This morning, early check-out from hotel and our guide in Mandalay transfer to jetty for cruising to Bagan around 6:00AM (Cruise check-in time) and departure around 6:30 AM. You can enjoy the light American breakfast with unlimited blended coffee and tea. Along the trip. You will have an experience by visiting near villages in the morning. And also demonstrate of Myanmar Traditional Longyi and Thanatkha in afternoon. Myanmar Set LUNCH would be provided on the board.  Throughout your Irrawaddy River cruise you will be treated to fabulous scenes of life on the water: fishermen, local ferry boats, riverside villages and views of the Bagan temples. You will arrive to Bagan around evening. Upon arrival, our guide in Bagan welcome to you and transfer for DINNER at local restaurant with puppet show.

BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)


Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and after, visit to the Nyaung U Market where is definitely worth a visit to enjoy the local way of life and local food. Have your LUNCH with Burmese cuisine at local restaurant and then, explore the ancient city Bagan by visit to Shwezigon Pagoda which is the huge gold plated pagoda glimmering in the sun, Ananda temple which is considered to be one of the most surving masterpiece of Mon architecture, Dhammanyangyi Temple which is the largest and haunted temple at Bagan and is related to the tragedies history of Bagan history. Visitors to Bagan get an opportunity to see the unique work of art and might fantasize about exploring all of temples and pagodas in a few days will become a memorable trip for you. Watching sunset at Bagan is the highlight of this tour. Enjoy sunset at small hill will become a photogenic spot that you can visit. Then, we go back to hotel for refreshments. DINNER at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant).

Day 6

BAGAN - POPA - BAGAN SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)


Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano. Rising out of the shimmering heat, Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar's most powerful "nats". Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the Stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jaggery. LUNCH at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant). After, tour continues to Myanmar Traditional Lacquer-ware workshop. Transfer back to hotel and take a private leisure time at your hotel. DINNER at local restaurant (Myanmar/Chinese or Thai restaurant).

Optional: Hot Air Ballooning over Bagan. 

A sunrise flight over Bagan is a unique experience by Balloons. Depart the hotel before sunrise and transfer to the departure point depending on wind. A thorough safety briefing follows before you take off for a 45 minutes to 1hr flight. Upon landing, retrieve vehicles will be on hand to serve sparkling wine and refreshments before a transfer back to your hotel. The whole excursion door to door normally last between 2h30 to 3hrs. Flights in the afternoon are also available on request but are more prone to cancellations due to weather conditions.

BAGAN-YANGON BY FLIGHT (B/L/D)


After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Yangon (Flying hours – about 1 hours 20 minutes). Upon arrival, LUNCH at local restaurant and transfer to hotel for check-in. After, we will go to the Shwedagon pagoda and explore the colorful  temples, stupas and statue that reflects the architecture era over 2600 years ago. Visitors will experience the insider’s view of this magnificent symbol of Buddhism of Myanmar people. Evening sightseeing at Kandawgyi Royal Lake, enjoying the peace and tranquil under the shading trees, listening to the singing of birds. DINNER at Karaweik restaurant with culture show.

YANGON SIGHTSEEING (B/L/D)


After breakfast at hotel, visit to Secretariat Office (the Ministers' Building) holds a unique place in Myanmar’s history, being the location for some of the most important moments in its colonial, independence and post-independence history. After LUNCH at local restaurant, sightseeing to The U Thant House, is a colonial era building within the Windermere compound in Yangon. The Yangon Heritage Trust assisted with the renovation of the residence of former United Nations Secretary-General U Thant. And then, sightseeing to the city center including Sule Pagoda, City Hall, MahaBandoola Park, Independence Monument and Emernual Church. For shopping, we arrange at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. DINNER at local restaurant.
