After breakfast, discover the true spirit of Milan during your half day CityTour. During this tour you visit the Cenacolo Vinciano, the famous Duomo in Milan. Also visit the Castello Sforzesco, before your departure to Genoa. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a great dinner at a Trattoria Genovese.

Stroll through the largest historic centre in Europe, discover the “caruggi” (the typical narrow streets in the old city) and the ancient shops during this day. Starting point of your CityTour is the Piazza De Ferrari, where you find the Ducal Palace, the ancient seat of the city government – now used for temporary art exhibitions; The Jesuit Church, rich baroque building hosting works by Guido Reni and Rubens. Not far away is the medieval Soprana Gate, Columbus Home and the medieval square S. Matteo, a typical example of Genoese noble quarter. Afterwards, continue the walking tour through the historic district (UNESCO heritage) of the city. Strolling through Via Garibaldi with the famous Rolli Palaces, you can visit Palazzo Rosso, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, Museo Diocesano after a special visit and tasting at the most ancient confectioner’s shop in Italy (since 1780). For lunch, you enjoy a wine tasting with typical light lunch at an ancient wine cellar in Genoa’s Historic centre. After this special food experience, the tour continue visiting the Old Port, restored by Renzo Piano in 1992, nowadays the most touristic area in the city, with the Aquarium, the Bigo and the Citta’ dei Bambini (Children’s town) before you will see the upper town and taking an unforgettable panoramic view from the Belvedere Montalto and visit a neo-gothic style castle, Castello D’Albertis.

GENOA: PORTOFINO & TIGULLIO GULF (B)
Departure to Santa Margherita Ligure. Stop for a short visit and transfer by boat (weather and sea conditions permitting; otherwise, you'll take your private bus) to Portofino. Time at disposal to a walking tour in this fascinating and famous village in the Italian Riviera. Time for a lunch at leisure in Portofino and return to Santa Margherita. Here, we suggest you transferring to Rapallo, the Tigullio’s pearl for a special cooking class! You can enjoy an amusing food and wine tasting of the most popular ligurian traditions, mortar-made pesto sauce meanwhile our nice chef, keen connoisseur and skilled actor, will make you actively participate to this special experience!

Cinque Terre
GENOA – CINQUE TERRE (B, D)
Today, set out to explore the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Composed of five pretty pastel coloured villages nestled among five miles of remote and rocky coastline, the Cinque Terre offers magnificent scenery dotted with olive groves and vineyards, superb fresh seafood and beautiful little harbours. You explore three of the villages by train and foot with your private guide before going back to Hotel in the late afternoon. Your farewell Dinner will be served at the hotel restaurant or at a local Trattoria Genovese.
