BANGKOK ARRIVAL
On arrival in Bangkok proceed to customs and meet your local tour guide in the arrival hall who will accompany you to your hotel and assist you on check in. Valuable information will be given to you on the way. Depending on your arrival time in Bangkok we suggest you start exploring the city tonight using the BTS SkyTrain which brings you to most favourite tourist spots. Maybe you want to explore the area around Siam Square, the main shopping district for branded goods in Bangkok. If you prefer a stylish start to your Bangkok city break, why not visit the roof top bar of the Lebua State Tower Hotel, made famous in the movie Hangover.

SIGHTSEEING TOUR WITH BOAT TRIP TO GRAND PALACE & WAT PHO AND EVENING TOUR TO ASIATIQUE (B, D)
After breakfast you will start your sightseeing tour of the Thai capital. Firstly you will take the boat to travel on the Chao Praya river to Rattanakosin Island, the royal quarter of Bangkok. The hustle and bustle on the most important waterway of Thailand will amaze you. After leaving the boat, a short walk will bring you to the Grand Palace, the official residence of the Kings and Queens of Thailand since 1782. The total area of the palace is over 218.000 square metres and one of the most famous sights inside the palace complex is undoubtedly the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting the Grand Palace you will proceed your visit with discovering Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The temple is classed as the highest grade of first class royal temples in Thailand and one of the architectural master pieces. Return back to your hotel in the afternoon. To crown a spectacular day of sightseeing, you will take a boat from Sathon Pier to Asiatique, situated in the former docks of the East Asiatique Company. With your guide you will take a leisurely stroll at the night market with its 1500 shops and about 40 restaurants before enjoying a typical Thai dinner at the waterfront. Return to your hotel.

VISIT TO JIM THOMPSON HOUSE AND NIGHT TOUR WITH A VISIT TO A NIGHT MARKET (B, D)
In the morning you will marvel at the magnificent former home of the famous American designer Jim Thompson who helped revitalise Thailand’s silk trade in the 1950s and 1960s. At a Jim Thompson was easily the most famous American living in Asia. Besides working in silk trade, even today you still have a silk fashion chain bearing his name, he was an art lover and lovingly decorated his Bangkok home with beautiful furniture and art objects. His house is a testament of his love to Asian art and the Thai people. Your afternoon is free at leisure. Roam around the Bangkok shopping belt or visit Pratunam Market, one of the biggest markets in town. In the evening we will show you the trendiest spots and the most beautiful views of the city on our night tour. Besides enjoying dinner at a cosy restaurant, you will also experience one of the famous night markets. Return to hotel.
