ARRIVAL PASSAU

Upon your arrival in Passau, check into your hotel and get your bike for the next days. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat trip and explore the city on your own.

PASSAU – SCHLÖGEN (B)

Choose one of the bank sides of the river and paddle to Jochenstein and then to Engelszell. Then it goes on the new bike path to Wesenufer and then to Schlögen. Enjoy the fresh country air and the great natural landscape on the way. For relaxation, there are coffee and cake in Schlögen.

SCHLÖGEN – LINZ (B)

Through the almost unpopulated valley between Kaiserau and Aschach to Wilhering leads the way today. In Wilhering stands the church of the 1000 angels. Another route to Linz leads on the left bank of the Danube to Ottensheim and then to Linz. In the afternoon, explore the European Capital of Culture 2009 with the Linz City Express. At the end, enjoy a delicious slice of the typical Linz cake.

LINZ - GREIN (B)

From Linz you cycle directly next to the Danube to Asten to visit the unique Paneum. Then the journey continues and pass the castle Wallsee to Ardagger or pass the castle Dornach to Grein.

Krems

GREIN - KREMS (B)

Today you drive first to Persenbeug, a Habsburg castle, and on to Melk with its imposing Stift, which you also visit. In the late afternoon, get off the bike and continue on the water towards Krems. Enjoy the recovery phase and the magnificent view from the water. In Krems, visit the cartoon museum at the end of the day.

Last cycling day today: Via the beautiful flower city Tulln, you reach the waltz city. After you gave back the bikes and checked into your hotel, the afternoon is free at leisure.

Our special service "VIENNA WARRANTY":

If you always, for example, Weather, fitness, etc., the bike ride end and spend the remaining days booked in Vienna, so this can be communicated the day before by 15 clock by phone at our local agent. Travel to Vienna and luggage transfer please do it on your own. The rest of the day is spent at the hotel in Vienna. (Note: During congress dates in Vienna also occasionally hotel changes possible).


Rental bikes

Quality bikes provide good service for a trouble-free bike ride. 7-Gears with hub gear, wide seat. On request, we also provide 21-speed wheels (Freewheel) without extra charge ready (when booking). Also included: Two-sided saddlebag - even with own wheels + 2 x 1 bottle (1.5 l) mineral water at wheel issue in Passau and pick up in the Danube Tourism office in Linz
