Day 1

Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport, you will be transferred to your hotel and can refreshen yourself, before you enjoy your Kgantok Dinner with traditional Lanna cuisine and performance.

Day 2

CHIANG MAI CITY TEMPLE AND DOI SUTHEP - MAE PING DINNER CRUISE (B, D)


Start your day with the tour of Chiang Mai's city temples. While you're driving through the city, you pass markets, residential areas, foreign consulates, and establishments, as well as government buildings and Ta-Pae, Chiang Mai's main street. Visit four of the most important temples: Wat Chiang Man, the oldest temple within the city walls; Wat Chedi Luang, where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined; and Wat Pra Singh. Next, drive up to Doi Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep. It is 3,500 feet above sea-level, the most sacred temple in Northern Thailand, containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha, with a challenging flight of over 300 walking steps, flanked by enormous mythological Nagas. A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here.Tonight, enjoy your Mae Ping Dinner while cruising the River Ping.

WIANG KUM KAM HISTORICAL - BOR SANG - EVENING NIGHT BAZAR (B, D)


After breakfast drive to Wiang Kum Kam. Then visit at Wat Chang Kum known as Wat Khan Tom, the first archeological site which was found in 1984.Afterward, drive to Bor Sang, the umbrella village, where the delicate Thai paper umbrellas are produced and hand-painted. From here, onwards to Thai Celadon, where ceramics are produced. These are modeled on the Sawankhalok pottery that used to be made hundreds of years ago at Sukhothai and exported all over the region. Last but not least, are stops to observe the intricacies of both lacquerware and silverware craftsmen. Well worth the visit. Your Dinner will be served at a local restaurant and afterward, you have time to stroll through the night bazaar.

Chiang Rai

CHIANG MAI - CHIANG RAI - WHITE TEMPLE (B, D)


On your way to Chiangrai, stop at the great Hot Spring at Mae Kachan and then at the White Temple for some explorations. Continue to Chiangrai city and enjoy a fun CityTour by rickshaw.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE - MAE KHONG RIVER CRUISE - OPIUM HOUSE (B, D)


Visit the Golden Triangle where the Ruak river empties into the Mekong river thus bringing together the boundaries of Thailand, Burma and Laos. An exciting long-tail boat ride along the Mekong gives spectacular views of the Laotian countryside and later a stop is made at Chiang Khong, famous as being one of the few places where the giant Mekong catfish are still caught.
Dinner is served at the hotel.

Phrae

CHIANGRAI - PAYAO - PHRAE (B, D)


On your way to Payao stop at the Wat Baanthat sob Waen with its history of Tai Lue displayed in beautiful paintings. Here,  your start our village tour which includes a visit to Tai Lue traditional house to see unique cotton weaving with natural dye colors and Nantaram Temple built by a Burmese merchant to pay homage to Lord Buddha. Continue to explore Khum Chaoluang, built by the last ruler of Phrae in 1892 A.D. The residence is harmoniously mixed with European style by Gingerbread texture.

Day 7
Nan

PHRAE - NAN (B, D)


Check out and continue to Tung Hong community, being famous for natural dye blue textile using Assam indigo called Mauhom. Enjoy creative activity here to create your own batik handkerchief in blue color to take home as a souvenir a shopping. Drive further to Nan province and visit the major temple called Phumin Temple where has very beautiful of wall painting about a love story.Next, visit the Phra Kerd temple, where you will have the chance to join an activity of Lanna flag to release your bad luck. Dinner is served in a local restaurant.

Day 8
Pakbeng

NAN - HUAYKLON BORDER - PAKBENG (B, D)


Arrived in the morning at Huayklon border in order to complete the immigration process for Thailand departure. Then continue to Pakbeng. On your way, you can enjoy the great views of the many rice fields and mountain scenery. Upon arrival in Pakbeng, you are free at leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Luang Prabang

PAKBENG - LUANG PRABANG  (B, L, D)


In the early morning, you will go to the Mekong River for a day of sailing on the Shompoo Cruise. On the way, you will stop by Pak Ou Cave. For centuries they have been home to hundreds of Buddha statuettes donated by pilgrims. Upon arrival at Callao pier, Luangprabang you will be taking part in Baci ceremony, organized to start your trip in Laos. Dinner is served at a local restaurant.

Luang Prabang

LIVING LAND FARM - CANDLELIGHT FESTIVAL  (B, L, D)


Discover and participate in all stages of rice cultivation (from the plant to the harvest to your plate) at a Living Land Farm outside of the city. Lunch will be served afterward in the restaurant overlooking the rice fields. During the afternoon, driver to Huen Chan House which is a traditional house dated back to over 100 years ago. Start handicrafts activities by creating traditional flower arrangement for Buddhist Lent and create some “Kratong” to release bad luck into the river as per Laotian tradition and believe. Dinner at Villas Santi hotel where you can see the parade of Candlelight or Boun Ok Phansa (Festival of Lights), which marks the end of Buddhist Lent and the rainy season. Monks are liberated to perform their normal community duties and it is celebrated with boat races and carnivals. In the evening of Boun Ok Phansa, a ceremony is held throughout Laos in which people launch small, candlelit banana-leaf (heua fai) floats on the rivers, decorated with offerings of incense and small amounts of money to bring luck and prosperity.

ALMSGIVING TO MONK - MORNING MARKET - KWANGSI WATERFALL  (B, L)


Early in the morning, drive to the city to join traditionally an alms giving to monks in front of the Viall Santi Hotel. Then enjoy the morning market of Luangprabang before going back to the hotel for your breakfast. Then start discovering the City by a Tuk Tuk and visit the famous temples including Wat mai, the National Museum and Palace, as well as the Xiangthong temple. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before discovering the Kwan Si Waterfall. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
