Day 1
Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR ARRIVAL; CITY TOUR AND KUALA LUMPUR BY NIGHT WITH DINNER & CULTURAL SHOW (D)


After your arrival, start with your KL City Tour which is a must for first-time visitors to Kuala Lumpur! They say the best way to get to know a new city is through a tour. This interesting tour will unveil the beauty and charm of the old and new Kuala Lumpur known as the “Garden City of Lights”. See the contrast of the magnificent skyscrapers against buildings of the colonial days. The KL city tour will take you to many of the highlights that this beautiful city has to offer. The afternoon is free at leisure. When the sun goes down, a different set of light lights up the city. Go to the open air bazaar of Chinatown where it is liveliest in the evening, visit a Hindu temple and to cap the evening off with a sumptuous Malay dinner accompanied with a cultural show.

Day 2
Taman Negara

KUALA LUMPUR - KUALA TEMBELING JETTY - TAMAN NEGARA (B)


Early morning set off to Kuala Tembeling jetty. Board a motorized longboat for 3 hours ride to Kuala Tahan, the headquarters of Taman Negara. On route, you will be passing by local villages and lush tropical rainforest. Birds, monkeys, monitor lizards or water buffaloes may be seen along the river. Upon arrival at your hotel, use the time for some own exploration of the jungle atmosphere. In the evening, meet your guide at the Resort’s reception who will give you a brief orientation introduction. Your first adventure will be a night jungle walk in the 130 million years old tropical rainforest. Take the boardwalk on a lookout for nocturnal insects amidst the chorus of the rainforest.  Do note, however, the sighting of wildlife in the tropical forest due to its density is a bonus.

TAMAN NEGARA (B)


Start your day with a jungle walk for 1 ½ hours up to Teresik Hill. Walking along the boardwalk rewards you with a panoramic view of the tropical rainforest at the top of Teresek Hill. The guide will highlight the rich flora found en route. Before returning to the base, go on a canopy walkway, built 40 meters above the ground and 530 meters in length. Experience the rainforest from a different perspective, as you get closer to the top of the trees! During the afternoon, take a boat trip to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh. There is a deep pool delightful for swimming, resting or reading on the rocky area overlooking the river. Also, stop at Lubok Tenor Fish Sanctuary where a fascinating fish feeding experience awaits you.

Day 4
Cameron Highlands

TAMAN NEGARA - KUALA TEMBELING JETTY - CAMERON HIGHLAND (B)


After breakfast, take a water taxi to cross the river to board the boat back to Kuala Tembeling. Arrive in Kuala Tembeling Jetty and set off to Cameron Highland which is a perfect getaway for those who wish to retreat into the highlands to enjoy the cool fresh mountain air and the green hills.

Day 5

CAMERON HIGHLAND (B)


Go up to Gunung or Mount Brinchang, the highest peak (6,666ft.) in Cameron Highlands. Experienced the tropical and mossy rainforest through a boardwalk for about 30minute, an interpretive walk into the Mossy Forest will reveal some of the most of unique forest flora of this mountain like the carnivorous Pitcher Plant, primitive Ferns, wild Orchids, Ti trees & Rhododendrons. Cruise down the hill to view the most scenic tea plantation, the Sungei Palas Boh estate which is regarded as the largest and best-known tea station in the region. Take a tea break (own account) after the brief guided tour of the factory. After that, continue to visit one of the strawberry farms where you can pay a small fee to pick fresh succulent strawberries by hand. From the farm, you continue to visit the Butterfly & Reptiles Farm. Here, you can view the many beautiful butterfly species including the renowned Raja Brooke. Next stop is at the day market where most of the local products can be found. Spend some time here exploring the many delightful things. Enjoy afterward some free time in Tanah Rata, the largest town in the Cameron Highlands region.

Penang

CAMERON HIGHLAND - IPOH - PENANG (B)


On your way to Penang, visit Kellie’s Castle, the unfinished castle which was meant to be a home away from home for Scottish Planter, William Kellie Smith in the 20th century. Thereafter, discover Ipoh Oldtown. Historically, the early settlement in Ipoh existed in the early 1800s and the city has spread across the Kinta River throughout the years. Notable Ipoh’s historical landmarks such as Town Hall, The Court House, Ipoh Royal Club, Railway Station, Birch Memorial Clock Tower, Saint Michael Institution, Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank and F.M.S Bar are well preserved until today. Continue to Penang afterward.

PENANG: TROPICAL SPICE GARDEN & PENANG BUTTERFLY FARM AND CITY & HERITAGE TOUR (B)


Join a tour specially designed for nature lovers. Our first stop is the spectacular Penang Butterfly Farm where you find yourself surrounded by a myriad of flickering and flitting butterflies in this specially designed natural environment. Next, visit the Tropical Spice Garden. Explore the lush, landscaped award-winning gardens set out over 8 acres of secondary jungle. Get up close and personal with over 500 species of tropical flora and fauna, some you’ve never seen before! Relax at the breezy, outdoor café overlooking the Straits of Malacca and the beautiful shoreline of Teluk Bahang. Then, continue for a City & Heritage Tour of Georgetown. Georgetown, the capital City of Penang, was named after King George III of England. Take a drive through historical Georgetown to visit the most prominent buildings of the colonial era that are now protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy also an authentic trishaw ride through the heart of Georgetown and be fascinated by its charming colonial architecture, the modern skyscrapers of bustling Chinatown and all the colors of Little India.
