CHICHÉN ITZÁ - CENOTE - IZAMAL

HACIENDA - UXMAL
After breakfast, you are expected on an Hacienda (estate) where even today Sisal is produced. You learn interesting details about this important commercial sector that used to have its relevance in the prehispanic and colonial times and its heyday at the beginning of the 20th century. The tour through this lovely hacienda finalises with the refreshing bath in a cenote. You also enter and visit another historically very important and remarkable Mayan site, Uxmal, whose name stands for the „three times build“. In the archaeological zone you can experience the Puuc-Style and the very well-decorated governor's palace.

Enjoy the vivid city of Mérida. In Mérida you can experience the fusion of indigenous culture and European influence from the colonial period and the time of the big landowners. The city tour takes you to the governor's palace, the oldest cathedral of Mexico and the former residence of the founder of the city, Francisco Montejo.
