Today, you'll arrive in Bulgaria's capital, Sofia. You'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own or relax after your journey.

Day Trip to Melnik (B)
After breakfast, you'll leave for Melnik. Melnik is the smallest Bulgarian town, picturesquely situated amidst a fantastic scenery - strangely shaped pyramids of sand and limestone. The wine which is produced by the unique Bulgarian brand, Wide Melnik Vine, has a wonderful quality. You'll also visit the Melnik Pyramids and the Church of Saint Antonius and the Monastery Saint Virgin Mary Spileotisa. After a great day in this beautiful town, you'll return to Sofia.

Sofia City Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will visit the Boyana Church, which is included in the UNESCO List of World Heritage sites. You will continue the sightseeing with a walking tour of the cultural city centre, to discover the most beautiful historic buildings of the capital, including the largest Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Basilica of Saint Sophia, the tomb of the unknown soldier, the antique market, the Royal Palace, the St. George Rotunda, the Parliament, the remains of the Forum and many others.
